Snaptrip says

Coastwatch Cottage in Scarborough is highly praised for its stunning views and excellent location near the harbour. Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness and comfort, making it a firm favourite for many. While parking can be challenging, the cottage's charm and proximity to local attractions are significant draws. Thoughtful touches are appreciated, although welcome gifts are not guaranteed.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, describing it as 'perfectly clean and fresh throughout' and 'spotless', indicating a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.

The location is celebrated for breathtaking views and central proximity to Scarborough's attractions. However, parking difficulties slightly impact the score, as it is mentioned as an issue by several reviewers.

The cottage is described as 'comfortable', 'cosy', and 'welcoming', with ample living space and well-furnished rooms. Some concerns about steep steps and accessibility are noted, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of a washer and dryer. However, the absence of a welcome pack and parking limitations suggest room for improvement.

While some guests mention nice touches like tea, coffee, and milk, there is no consistent mention of gifts, and the reviews do not provide enough information to score this category accurately. It is politely noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

The views are amazing, even on the rainy days. It is very private allowing all the family to feel Comfortable to sit in the living room and watch the world go by. As always, the cottage’s cleanliness was impeccable and we were allowed in the accommodation a lot earlier than the advised time of 4pm.
