Dolphin House is a charming, Grade II listed townhouse, in the heart of the beautiful, medieval town of Burford. The house dates from the late 17th century with the shop front window being added around 1870 when the property became a bakers. Situated half way up The Hill, the house enjoys one of the most stunning settings in the Cotswolds. Internally, the property has been renovated and thoughtfully decorated with your ultimate comfort in mind, while still retaining its original period features that make it a truly exceptional country cottage. Offering a gorgeous sitting room with sumptuous sofas and armchairs - a lovely place to relax after a hard day sightseeing. Pass through the dining room into the superbly appointed kitchen, with all that you could need to create culinary masterpieces. Parking arrangements could be clearer on the listing, they were clear in the property handbook. More mugs would be useful.

Only complaint is that it was short on mugs and glasses. Only 6 mugs and 8 water glasses meant constant washing up. Could also do with a teapot

Decorations and tree were perfect. The only thing that would have enhanced the stay is having an extra set of keys. Sometimes, it's more convenient to come in through the front door and not have to go round the back to the key safe. We would have no hesitation in recommending Dolphin House.
