Next door to the owner's home, this annexe still maintains many of its original features such as the exposed beams and quirky stone inglenook fireplace housing a woodburning stove. Stepping inside, be welcomed into a spacious open-plan living room with a sofa and armchair to choose from. Break out the popcorn and curl up to enjoy a relaxing film night together after a long day. The kitchen has been fitted to a high-standard, with all the necessities for cooking up a scrumptious romantic meal for your partner. Following the steps up to the first floor, you will find a large double bedroom, fitted with bedside tables and lamps for those of you who enjoy some late night reading. The bedroom benefits from access to its very own deluxe en-suite shower room for your convenience. You are within driving distance of the historical cities of Peterborough, Cambridge and Lincoln for a variety of local tourist attractions. Travel into Peterborough to discover many of its finest sites, including the 12th century Peterborough Cathedral and Peterborough Museum holding a range of local artifacts and artwork. Nearby is Stamford, a wonderful stone-built Georgian market town, thought to be one of the finest stone towns in England.     The cottage is a perfect location for geocaching routes so we never had to travel far to enjoy our hobby! The weather was cold & rainy but the cottage is lovely & warm & the beautiful Christmas decorations made it feel like home! We would not hesitate to return!
