Snaptrip says

Meadow View is a well-received cottage in Norfolk, praised for its homely feel, beautiful garden, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack and local recommendations. The location is ideal for exploring the Norfolk coast, with many mentioning the convenience and peacefulness. Comfort is generally high, though one mention of an uncomfortable mattress suggests room for improvement. Facilities are comprehensive, contributing to a 'home from home' experience, with some minor maintenance notes.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as spotless and very clean, with guests feeling comfortable upon arrival. There is a single mention of a lightbulb issue, but this does not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.

The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions and the coast. It is described as an ideal base for exploring North Norfolk, with easy access to beaches and villages.

Comfort is generally praised, especially the beds and the cosy atmosphere. However, there is a mention of an uncomfortable mattress and a suggestion that one of the rooms might be too small for two beds, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are well-received with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, utility room, and additional touches like children's toys. Some minor maintenance issues like flickering lights and a kettle possibly needing attention are noted.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and local vouchers. While these are appreciated, it is noted that such gifts, though delightful, are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

This was our first visit to Norfolk and we couldn't have asked for a better base. We did a couple of walks from the property, great not to have to get the car out. We were blessed with great weather all week, and it was a joy to sit out in the garden and listen to the bird songs. We all totally switched off and relaxed, we didn't want to leave. Just a couple of things to point out, a couple of the spotlights in the kitchen kept flickering and the kettle I think might need checking, bits kept appearing in our mugs... This seems really churlish to mention this, it's only so you can check it out as you might not realise otherwise. Sedgeford was an ideal base to visit the beaches of Hunstanton and Brancaster. We did a couple of visits to Sandringham and the literature in the house was really useful and helped us pick out some walks, thank you. Thank you for the use of your property, we loved it, and very much expect to come back there.

It is a great place to stay, base for loads to do nearby whether that's beaches, shopping, walks or absolutely nothing:) We had an 11yr old and couple of dogs, garden was great for both - terrier proof and plenty to do. Loads of wildlife in the area and very peaceful get away from it all. Will be back!

The cottage is really comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The back garden is large and dog secure. It is located a 5 minute drive to a dog safe paddock (for hire) which is great if you have a nervous or reactive dog. It is a 10 minute drive to a lovely farm shop near Norfolk lavender and Lidl’s and it is a great base for birdwatching the north Norfolk coast. We hope to come back next year
