About this property

Ruskin Lodge is a stylish, single-storey lodge nestled on White Cross Bay Holiday Park in Troutbeck Bridge, which lies in between Windermere and Ambleside towns.

Perfectly placed near local amenities, attractions and Lake Windermere, Ruskin Lodge enjoys an idyllic spot for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle, enveloped by the beautiful Lake District National Park.

Park up and make your way up to the enclosed decked area, a haven for alfresco mealtimes when the sun is shining. Step indoors and enjoy the open-plan living space, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, dedicated dining space for six, and plenty of plush seating, ready to sink into in front of the electric fire.

If the weather allows, throw open the patio doors and enjoy some refreshments from outside, before retreating indoors for a film night.

Three well-appointed bedrooms are on offer, including a double with en-suite, a further double, and a triple bunk room, all serviced by a sleek shower room.

Explore the surroundings and take a pleasant stroll through Troutbeck Bridge and revel in the serene beauty of the area, before stopping off to purchase the essentials or to dine out at The Sun Inn or The Gaddum at Brockhole.

Enjoy a peaceful wander along the lake shores of Windermere and discover the Lake District’s largest lake and its many attractions, including boat trips, kayaking, and paddleboarding, or travel further north to Ambleside where you can visit Borrans Park, hike up the many mountain tops which surround the town, and discover The Bridge House, with Grasmere and Rydal resting further afield. Enjoy the best of Cumbria from Langdale 16 Ruskin Lodge.

. Beautiful decor & attention to detail, comfy, cosy & felt very much at home. We will back soon. The whole of the Lake District is amazing with stunning walks. The boat trips on the lake are super relaxing. Restaurants are very good, we tend to go for the ones that have local produce on the menu, these seem to be the best. If you want really good fish & hips try Driftwood in Bowness, just past the amusement arcade on the lake. Also The Queens Head at Troutbeck does amazing meals. 5 stars!
