Located within the Lake District National Park inside a brand-new 2020 luxury apartment development, this property is set on the bank of the River Leven and forms the perfect base for a romantic break or weekend away, ideally placed to explore the Southern Lakes and Furness Peninsula. Enter the property and arrive into the entrance hallway. Off the hall is the well-appointed double bedroom, with bedside tables, built-in wardrobe, & vanity table, there are views across to the Ironworks monument, steam railway and wooded hillside. Directly opposite the hall is the stylish bathroom housing a large walk in shower, WC & large sink with over sink vanity mirror and large heated towel rail. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with floor-to-ceiling windows, here you will find contemporary furnishing’s including double sofa and single chair, Smart TV, coffee table, side table and additional lighting. The modern kitchen incorporates Corian style work tops and local slate splash backs, there are Bosch appliances throughout including induction hob, electric fan oven built in washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, nespresso coffee maker also provided. The dining table for two has modern comfortable chairs and allows views out of the apartment towards the adjacent river Leven. Lastly head out of the lounge patio door and sit and relax in your outdoor patio area with a glass of wine to enjoy the stunning river views at any time of day, there is private parking for one car. Please note this apartment can be booked with its sister apartment on the first floor (Leven View property reference 1050394) should a party of four wish to stay. The apartment is just a walk away from local attractions including the historic Haverthwaite steam railway that runs (in season) from Haverthwaite to Lakeside on Windermere for onward lake cruises to Bowness and Ambleside, also, within walking distance are the Lakeland Motor Museum, Café Ambio, Cliffhanger Escape Rooms and the Whitewater Hotel with its Spa and Leisure Club (day passes available) plus bar and bistro restaurant overlooking the river, nearby outdoor activities include horse-riding at Bigland Hall, Cartmel races through the year, Holker Estate and gardens, cycle trails and Go Ape experiences in Grizedale forest, fell walks, and water sports opportunities on Windermere or Coniston Water. Explore the popular National Trust owned Fell Foot park or take a hike through Hay Bridge nature reserve, before heading north to the hustle and bustle of Bowness on Windermere for shopping and attractions.     The little extras like the ‘welcome’ card and biscuits were a nice touch. A perfect location for touring the south lakes area - but a car is essential
